Mayon Trail Run takes you to the hottest volcanic trails, the most exciting and exotic places. A definite bragging rights for the very exclusive 500 trail runners this year.
Mayon Trail Run was organize by the Junior Chamber International Philippines-Legazpi City together with Councilor Cerilo Chan and The North Face Philippines to be one of the Premiere Trail Running event in the country.  As an official event of the city’s Ibalong Festival it is now bigger better and more exciting.

As organizer’s of the 2nd Mayon Trail Run, we are apologizing for not having the Gatorades at the Lava front and Finish Line as announced in the MTR Race Updates. We take full responsibility for this, as any organizer should.
Though we would greatly appreciate it if Gatorade would explain why there is a failure in communications and a failure in delivery. We are very much disappointed that the last communication we had with Gatorade was a confirmation that delivery was underway afternoon of Oct. 17, 2009 and further attempts on …

Updates on MTR Race
1.) 21k Race Schedule is revise to 6:00AM Start Time, 5K will follow right after.
- This is due to difficulty of deploying of over 200 volunteers across the trails in the dark. there will be over 100 Marshals and 100 emergency Response personnel. 4 ambulances, 1 helicopter, 5 ATV, 20 mountain bikers.
